Witness may be a new brand, but our family has more than 20 years of experience developing, manufacturing, importing and supplying premium products to customers across Australia, the USA, Canada, Europe and New Zealand.

Through established marine brands including Indy Wakeboard Towers, Origin Wakeboard Towers, Reborn Wakeboard Towers and Dolphin T Tops, we’ve learned what matters: choose quality products, look after your customers and stand behind what you sell.

Those same values now guide Witness.

Our chairs are carefully selected using the experience, standards and attention to quality we’ve developed over more than two decades.

WHY WITNESS?

Witness started with a simple family problem.

Between swimming, sport, camping, fishing and days outdoors, we were constantly carrying bulky chairs, bags, food and everything else a family needs.

Jim’s injuries made carrying bulky camping chairs difficult. Three chairs also took up far too much room in the car, while Gladys was often left juggling multiple chairs and bags.

We wanted something lightweight, compact and easy to keep in the car — without giving up comfort.

So Witness Compact Chairs was born.

WHY THE NAME?

The name Witness has a personal meaning for our family.

During his career as a NSW Police officer, Jim spent plenty of time in court giving evidence from the witness box.

Years later, after injuries changed the direction of his life, the word took on a different meaning.

It became about being there to witness the things that really matter — Jamie’s early morning swim training, race days, sporting events, family adventures and all the little moments in between.

That’s what Witness represents today.

Gladys — Co-Founder

With more than 20 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, importing, operations and customer service, Gladys leads Witness and its commitment to quality and long-term customer support.

Jamie — Co-Founder

Jamie brings the next generation to Witness. Growing up around business and sport, she brings fresh ideas, creativity and first-hand experience of life around swimming pools, sporting fields and family adventures.

Jim — Family Advisor

Jim supports Witness with more than 20 years of experience in product development, international manufacturing, sourcing and business strategy.
